The Magic of the Parallel Pen…Beyond Letters!

A two-session workshop presented by Suzie Beringer
About the Workshop

We are so excited for our workshop with the fabulous Suzie Beringer from the Pacific Northwest! In this workshop, students look at the Pilot Parallel Pen and the many possibilities the pen offers for artistic expression. Suzie will share great design ideas that look at creating different borders along with showing how to manipulate this pen to create beautiful foliage as well as other endless designs. Students will also do some unique color mixing. This will be a fun and insightful workshop…be prepared to walk away loving the Parallel Pen and its amazing flexibility!

About the Artist:

Suzie Beringer is a lettering artist who makes her home in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has been published in Letter Arts Review as well as other publications. As a teacher, Suzie loves to share her passion for mark making and design with others. As an artist, she loves the challenge and discovery that lettering on different surfaces brings.
