Hiring A Calligrapher

A number of our talented members provide services on commission, so if you find yourself in need of calligraphic services, you’ve come to the right place! Feel free to discuss the calligrapher’s background, experience and available references, and talk about the script and design elements you have been thinking about. Be sure to listen to the calligrapher for their suggestions, however. You must supply the calligrapher with copy that is legible and worded (and spelled) exactly as you want it to appear. When multiple items are involved, provide extra envelopes or certificates as a courtesy to the calligrapher. We love this art of beautiful writing and are pleased and honored that you appreciate it enough to consider purchasing!
